Bill
is a 16-year veteran of the insurance business with Wetzel
Agency, Inc. in Ponca City. Bill has been a producer and
manager over personal lines, farm and ranch insurance, commercial
property and casualty, and bonding. Bill has served as the
President of the Wetzel Agency, and is the third generation
of his family to do so. Bill succeeded his father William
F (Bill Wetzel) and his grandfather, Cliff Wetzel. The agency's
roots date back to 1931.
Bill
currently serves as President of Ponca City location of
Loftis & Wetzel and concentrates his efforts on commercial
property and casualty insurance as well as bonding.
Bill
works regularly with commercial insureds including manufacturers,
retailers, wholesalers, contractors and public entities
including schools and municipalities.

INVOLVEMENT
Bill
has served on the Young Agents Committee for Oklahoma and
on the National Young Agents Committee of the Independent
Insurance Agents of America. Bill is currently on the Board
of Directors of the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma
and has been the Chairman of InsurPAC and OKPAC, the political
action committees of the associations.
Bill
is the President of Ponca City United Way, a member of the
advisory board of Pioneer Technology Center. He has served
on the KFOR Newschannel 4 Advisory Board as well as many
other civic and charitable organizations and events.
Bill
has been a musician playing with various bands over the
years and is currently the bass player for a local band
called "Zero Tolerance". He is also very interested in Miami Dolphin football, where his newphew, Wes Welker, is a wide receiver and return man. Bill and his two sons reside in Ponca City.
