Mike
Loftis has been active in the insurance business for over
30 years as an agent and as the President of Loftis Insurance
in Blackwell and Ponca City. Mike's father, Don Loftis,
founded the agency in 1958. During his career, he has
been a producer in personal lines, farm & ranch insurance,
crop insurance, commercial property and casualty, life
insurance, and employee benefits. Mike
currently concentrates his efforts on commercial insurance,
life insurance, and employee benefits. He has a high experience
in dealing with employers who have expercienced difficulties
with their Employee Benefit Plans. Mike is skilled in
the area of self-funded group insurance benefits for larger
employers (groups of 100 or more). Mike works regularly
with commercial insureds including manufacturing companies,
wholesalers, retailers, contractors, and public entities
such as schools and municipalities.
Mike
served on the Board of Directors, and in 2000, as the
President of the Independent Insurance Agents of Oklahoma.
He was a Legislative Chair and has spent considerable
time lobbying on behalf of Agents at the State and Federal
level.
Mike
holds the Certified Insurance Councelor designation and
has done so continuously since 1985. He is a graduate of
Blackwell High School, Northern Oklahoma College, and Oklahoma
State University.

INVOLVEMENT
Mike
has been active over the years in the Blackwell Industrial Authority, Blackwell Chamber
of Commerce, Blackwell Public School Foundation, Northern
Oklahoma College Foundation, and Rotary. Mike is a Life
Member of the OSU Alumni Association. Mike and his wife
Janet are avid Cowboy football and basketball fans. They
have three children and are active members of First
Lutheran Church and School.
