This program offers great benefits to school participants

CCOSA
457 SCHOOL RETIREMENT PROGRAM
Loftis
& Wetzel is pleased to offer the new retirement plan
of choice for public schools, the CCOSA Endorsed 457 School
Retirement Plan from Life of the Southwest. The plan is
the equivalent of a “401(k) for schools”. It
allows employees to defer up to $12,000 ($14,000 if over
50) per year, on a tax deductible basis. Earnings accrue
on a tax-deferred basis.
This
program can be used in conjunction with a 403(b) annuity,
or in place of it. It can be offered to your employees at
no cost to the district. The big plus is funds can be withdrawn
from this program prior to age 59 ½ without any tax
penalty.
Every
school district, regardless of size, should have this plan
in place. For more information, please
